Root Canal Treatment

It is a stepwise procedure in which the pulp (nerves and blood vessels) of badly decayed tooth is removed, pulp canals are cleaned and filled to prevent further infection within the tooth. A series of instruments are used for the same treatment. We are providing minimal or no pain treatment using rotary endodontics. Root canal treatment is required if the tooth has severe infection causing continuous or intermittent sharp pain within the tooth, if there is severe gum infection causing toothache, if the tooth is fractured and pulp is injured. Symptoms indicating the need for RCT includes severe toothache, pain with cold or hot food and drinks or both, pain on biting, pain due to fracture of tooth, swollen gums near the tooth etc. If any of these are present, visit dentist soon.
